Oven heating is often used in batch or laboratory environments.Silicone heat shrink tubes placed together with cables in a constant temperature oven can achieve uniform overall heating and ensure consistent shrinkage.This method is highly suitable for occasions with high quality requirements,but it is not appropriate for outdoor or temporary construction.

Hot water soaking is also an optional option.Placing the pipe in high-temperature hot water can complete the contraction under relatively mild conditions,avoiding damage caused by excessively high temperatures.However,this method has a relatively slow shrinkage rate and is limited in effect on thick-walled or large-diameter pipes.
Infrared heating and heating table heating also have certain applications in industrial production.Infrared heating can quickly act on the surface of pipes and is suitable for assembly line production.The heating table can provide a stable heat source,facilitating the processing of small workpieces and ensuring uniform shrinkage.
The selection of construction heating methods needs to be combined with the usage environment.When conducting on-site maintenance,hot air guns should be used more often.Large-scale production is suitable for ovens or infrared heating.When conditions are limited,hot water soaking can be adopted.As long as the appropriate heating temperature and method are mastered,silicone heat shrink tubes can fully shrink and play their due insulating and protective roles.
